Outreach Program Tutors are hired to assist the academic delivery of specific programs, often related to summer programs. They are integral to supporting education within the classroom. Within lessons, they assist with classroom management and encourage student progress. Outside the classroom, they are expected to complete some minimal administrative tasks.
A. Major duties and responsibilities, and not limited to:
● Lesson material preparation and classroom preparation oversight
● Correcting student's work
● Within assigned classes, work closely with the teacher to understand student progress
● Assisting in classroom management and lesson delivery
● Translate where necessary for students with low English
● Tracking student attendance and progress and informing where necessary additional support needs
● Maintain clean and beautiful presentation of the classroom
● Assist in the overall smooth operation of the course under line management.
