- The Strategic Planner is responsible for creating the digital communication strategy for marketing campaigns. This includes targeting the right audience, appropriate channels, as well as setting the tone and message of the campaign.
- The Strategic Planner is also responsible for writing the formal brief and for providing the ideal environment for creative development.
- The Strategic Planner will be involved in working with a number of clients at the same time, and will need to identify the specific business needs for each one.
- Demonstrate creative/advertising copywriting skills
- Translate the brand positioning into disruptive and engaging across all communications channel’s
- Proven experience developing brands creatively
- Willingness to challenge towards creative excellence
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of social and digital formats
- Ability to read and speak English (IELTS 7.0)
- Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary and collaborative team that includes experience designers, graphic designers, copywriters, technologists, business analysts and strategists, and project managers.
- Contribute to creative strategic thinking by researching and writing comprehensive creative briefs
- Produce, analyze and deliver consumer insights based on primary or secondary research methods, and synthesize multiple data sources to find unique insights.
- Provide campaign tracking and insight development using social media planning tools.
- Coordinate with social and creative teams to promote the services.
- Join in brainstorming sessions to come up with ideas and strategy for brand campaigns.
- Produce and present actionable data in the form of compelling consumer, cultural, competitive, brand insights.
- Develop a robust understanding of client business challenges in order to deliver insights to help our teams meet client goals.
- Perform competitive analysis of brands, experiences and campaigns Using analytics, work with account teams and experience strategy teams to identify new ideas and opportunities with existing clients
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends
- As a start-up company we expect you to go above and beyond what is required on the JD. There may times occasionally where you may be asked to stay back or come in on weekends
- 2 or more years work experience as a planner, creative development or similar role
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or relevant field would be a plus!
- You are a go-getter. You have an ‘impossible is nothing’ attitude
- You also have a friendly personality and don’t mind mentoring and motivating others
- Good people skills for the difficult moments as well as the easy ones
- You have proven understanding of our business (Social) or very similar ones
- You are unfazed by a little pressure and enjoy the energy of a team
- You are proactive and embrace challenges as opportunities
