Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & Liaison Officer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and growing our presence on Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, as well as coordinating and inviting experts to our podcast. The ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast with excellent communication skills and a knack for networking.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and schedule compelling content across all social media channels.
- Appear in and produce engaging video content that reflects the brand's voice and identity.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to track performance and inform future strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Podcast Liaison:
- Identify and reach out to potential guests and experts for our podcast.
- Coordinate and schedule podcast recordings, ensuring all logistical details are managed efficiently.
- Serve as the main point of contact for podcast guests, providing them with all necessary information and support.
- Act as the emcee/moderator for the podcast, leading interviews and discussions with guests.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote podcast episodes on social media and other platforms.
Brand Representation:
- Serve as the 'face' of the brand on social media, engaging with the audience through live sessions, stories, and interactive content.
- Build a strong online presence and foster a sense of community among followers.
- Represent the brand at relevant industry events, both online and offline.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with the content creation team to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all channels.
- Collaborate with other departments to align social media activities with overall marketing and business goals.
- Attend relevant industry events and network with professionals to build relationships and identify opportunities for collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing social media platforms, particularly Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with podcast production and guest coordination is a plus.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Skills:
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
