Origin Hope, a rising content production startup, is looking for a skilled wordsmith with a passion for refining written content. Our dedicated team is comprised of creative minds from various backgrounds, and we are seeking a talented, experienced writer with a passion for refining and perfecting written content to join us. This position is fully remote. As long as the work is done, we don't care how/where you live your life.
- Creating a wide range of written content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Ensuring the overall quality, clarity, and coherence of written materials with intermediate to advanced topic difficulty before submission to editors.
- Help the team in any aspect required to ensure that all the deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with other writers and management to provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Uphold editorial standards and contribute to the development of editorial guidelines.
Our midlevel writers are expected to do up to 20,000 words weekly.
- Minimum two years of English writing experience. Fresh graduates with the necessary skills are welcome to apply.
- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Proven writing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your writing skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for producing error-free content.
- Journalism experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Ability to adapt to varying writing standards, style guides, and tone of voice.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Leadership qualities with rapid decision-making abilities and time management are a plus.
- Must own a computer/laptop with a decent internet connection.
