Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Oversee procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies required for production.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms.
- Monitor and improve supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability of supplies.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination of operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the supply chain process.
- Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use supply chain management software and tools effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards related to the Food & Beverage industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
