Role Overview:
As the Import & Export Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing import and export activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. From facilitating shipments to maintaining accurate records, you will play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end import and export process, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics coordination.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian import and export regulations, as well as international standards and protocols.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to expedite shipments and resolve any issues or delays.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, invoices, and other related paperwork with meticulous attention to detail.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade laws, tariffs, and trade agreements to facilitate smooth operations and minimize risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in import and export operations, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written, is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian import and export regulations, as well as international trade standards and practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and assess compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with import/export software and ERP systems.
