Job Qualifications:
1. Min. bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) are advantageous.
2. Min. Exprerience 1-2 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in an oil & gas industry.
3. Proven track record of implementing and managing HSE programs, policies, and procedures.
4. Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits.
5. Understanding of local, state/provincial, and federal regulations related to health, safety, and environmental compliance (e.g. ISO standards).
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively communicating HSE policies, procedures, and training materials to employees at all levels of the organization.
7. Having ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve HSE objectives and foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, root causes of incidents, and opportunities for improvement.
9. Proficiency in using HSE management systems, software, and tools. Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
10. Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including operations, maintenance, engineering, and regulatory agencies, to achieve HSE goals and objectives.
11. Having medical checkup in recent month/year, proven by the result.
Job Description:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with local, state/provincial, and federal regulations and industry best practices.
2. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend preventive measures to mitigate workplace injuries, illnesses, and environmental incidents.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver HSE training programs, workshops, and campaigns to raise awareness, enhance competencies, and promote a culture of safety.
4. Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental spill to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of HSE inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance activities to ensure regulatory compliance and facilitate reporting to regulatory agencies.
6. Monitor and evaluate HSE performance metrics, trends, and leading indicators to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance overall safety and environmental performance.
7. Serve as a subject matter expert on HSE-related matters, providing guidance, advice, and support to management, employees, and contractors to ensure compliance with HSE standards and requirements.
8. Collaborate with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and external stakeholders to stay informed about emerging HSE regulations, standards, and best practices and implement necessary changes to HSE programs accordingly.
9. Participate in emergency response and crisis management activities, including developing and implementing emergency preparedness plans, conducting drills, and providing support during emergencies.
10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of HSE programs, processes, and systems, and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
