1. Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, or STM
(Vocational high school), associate trades school certification in a related field
2. Min. 3 Years work experienced as refinery technician and Experienced in Maintenance Inspection, Periodical Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and remove & install equipment in relate equipment in Area Precious Metal Refinery.
3. Ability to do trouble shooting
4. Preferably understand of conditioning monitoring/reliability for equipment.
5. Experience as Metal Refinery Technician in Similar Equipment of Precious Metal Refinery.
6. Completed an Electrical Apprenticeship with a recognized training facility
7. Preferable Qualified/ Certified with Electrical Technician Health & Safety (TK3L), and/or working on LV and/or MV systems, and/or welder certification
8. For Gresik Domicile & surrounding areas will be a plus
9. Experience working in the smelter area is an added value
10. Willing to be work in a system shift

Job Overview: As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Your responsibilities will include installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components, troubleshooting electrical faults, and adhering to safety standards and regulations. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to support the electrical infrastructure of the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in accordance with blueprints, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical components.
Inspect electrical systems and components to identify defects, malfunctions, or signs of wear and tear.
2. Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions using testing devices, schematics, and technical manuals.
Replace or repair defective electrical parts, such as wires, switches, circuit breakers, and motors.
Test repaired equipment to verify proper functionality and performance.
3. Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical systems to prevent accidents and injuries.
Follow lockout/tagout procedures when servicing or repairing electrical equipment to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
Stay updated on electrical codes, standards, and best practices to maintain compliance and minimize risks.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Document electrical modifications, upgrades, and installations for future reference and compliance purposes.
Report any safety hazards, equipment deficiencies, or maintenance requirements to supervisors in a timely manner.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to plan and execute electrical projects and tasks.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates, request assistance, and ensure project objectives are met.
Provide guidance and training to less experienced technicians or apprentices as needed.
6. Equipment Testing and Calibration:
Conduct tests and measurements on electrical systems and equipment to verify performance and accuracy.
Calibrate instruments and sensors to maintain precision and reliability in electrical measurements.
Interpret test results and make adjustments or recommendations accordingly.
