Job Description:
A Creative Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and creative direction of the brand's products. This position involves overseeing a creative team, guiding the development of visually appealing and innovative designs for pillows, and ensuring that the brand's creative vision aligns with marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Visual Branding for Pillowblox:
• Develop and communicate a clear and cohesive visual identity for the pillow brand.
• Ensure that all creative assets, including packaging and marketing materials, align with the established brand aesthetics.
2. Creative Team Leadership:
• Lead and inspire a creative team, including graphic designers, photographers, and copywriters, to create engaging and on-brand visuals.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to foster a collaborative and innovative creative environment.
3. Product Design and Development:
• Oversee the design and development of pillow products, considering both aesthetics and functionality.
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs are feasible for production.
4. Packaging Design:
• Direct the creation of visually appealing and effective packaging designs for pillow products.
• Ensure packaging aligns with brand messaging and stands out on retail shelves.
5. Campaign Conceptualization:
• Spearhead the ideation and development of creative concepts for pillow marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure creative concepts effectively convey brand messages and product features.
6. Photography and Visual Content:
• Direct and coordinate photoshoots for pillow products, ensuring high-quality visual content.
• Oversee the selection and editing of images for use in marketing materials and online platforms.
• Create content, video, rand reels.
7. Market Research:
• Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape in the home goods and bedding industry.
• Integrate market insights into creative strategies to keep the pillow brand relevant.
8. Client Collaboration:
• Work closely with external clients to understand creative requirements and objectives.
• Present and explain creative concepts, incorporating feedback as needed.
9. Budget Management:
• Manage creative project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to estimate and control costs related to creative projects.
Requirements:
• Have an experience as a Creative Director or in a senior creative role, preferably in the home goods or bedding industry min 3 years.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful creative projects related to pillow design and branding.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of design principles, textiles, and trends in the home goods industry.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Based in Bogor.
