Business Development Manager
Job Description:
- Understanding aligner market trends, practice and patient needs and requirements
- Active engagement daily with key accounts to gain Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to determine how the company can best support offices/doctors
- Participate in territory industry events such as exhibitions and workshops
- Participate in training on competitive advantages of our products versus competitor
- Participate in training on case selection and case management best practices
- Visiting clients’ locations that require additional training. This may include case identification, case submission, treatment plan review, patient communication, etc
- Performing practice evaluations and giving recommendations to clients
- Assess and review the current sales strategy
- Contact individual clients with low sales or need more attention and support
- Training and onboarding of new team members
- Ongoing mentorship for active team members; Sharing of best practices
- Oversee day-to-day schedules for team members for efficient time management
Qualification:
- Min. bachelor’s degree of any major.
- Preferred 5 years’ experience of related experience in dental equipment business.
- Dental industry/aligner product knowledge preferred.
- Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Ability to lead and develop virtual teams via Zoom or other platforms.
- Technically adept.
- Ability to work remotely and travel up to 60% of time.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to set clear team goals, delegate tasks and set deadlines.
- Very good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer service oriented and ability to work with and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to plan and arrange activities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to manage conflict.
