Job Overview :
The Account Manager position at PT Tangara Mitrakom in the satellite-based telecommunications industry primarily focuses on acquiring new clients for products like VSAT, Starlink, IoT, NMS, Connectivity, and related offerings. The role involves prospecting, lead generation, and converting leads into long-term business relationships, driving sales growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and target potential clients in the telecommunications sector, with a focus on new customer acquisition.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for growth.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other sales techniques, maintaining a robust pipeline of prospects.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations, presenting solutions and value propositions to address their business challenges.
- Lead sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to close deals, achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and implementation of new accounts, providing ongoing support and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree education.
- Proven track record in sales or business development roles within the telecommunications industry, demonstrating successful new customer acquisition.
- Strong sales acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to build rapport with potential clients to drive sales conversions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey product benefits and value propositions.
- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to identify market opportunities and develop tailored sales strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for sales tracking, reporting, and pipeline management.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with prospects, attend industry events, and support business development initiatives.
