Job Description
As a BigBox Account Executive, you will be part of the marketing & sales team that leads the adoption of the BigBox Platform & Solution, you will be immersed in the inner workings of the comprehensive platforms for big data analytics, IoT and streaming, and machine learning. You will utilize your strong business competencies and customer service skills to provide the highest level of business to marketing & sales teams, prospects and customers to support sales goals. This role is part of Sales. Specific goals/responsibilities are as follows :
Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving sales growth, revenue and profitability opportunities by growing the base of existing and potential customer
- Log, track, and maintain customer contact and contact records.
- Present BigBox technology and vision to officials and technical contributors at prospects and customers
- Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of BigBox technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
- Immerse yourself in the ever-evolving industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position BigBox in relation to them.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing to continuously improve BigBox’s products and marketing
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with corporate customers, other partners.
- Develop effective understanding of corporate customer needs, and how we may better support them
- Exceed quarterly and annual goals for new software subscription, professional services, solution services and training
- Build consensus and develop trusted advisor relationships at multiple levels: executive sponsors, decision-makers, influencers
- Introduce domain product and service experts while maintaining account oversight
- Lead large scale transactions and close large scale deals
- Team with the account leads to develop and/or further expand Lead large scale transactions and close large scale deals
Desired Skills
- Min. 1 years of enterprise experience with a pre-sales environment
- Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
- Experience with many of the following technologies, and a passion to learn the others: data warehousing, data engineering, machine learning, streaming, private and public cloud technologies.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields or equivalent experience preferred
- Broad knowledge of cloud platforms : Cloudera, AWS, Azure & GCP is preferred
- Confidence working with customers and public speaking
- Demonstrated experience gathering and understanding customer business requirements
- Broad range of experience within large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies
- Ability to connect a customer’s specific business problems and BigBox’s solutions
- Experience seeing the entire lifecycle from conception to design to technology evaluation to pilot program to implementation to maintenance and support
- Huge plus: experience selling to Manager, CEO, VP, Accountant or Finance Manager Comfortable working in a small, distributed team.
- Proficient skill in written oral communication, marketing analysis and presentation
- Hardworking and able to work independent or as team
- Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Willing to work overtime
- Confident and highly self motivated
- Fluent in English both oral and written
- Good work ethic and attitude
- Negotiation skills to close a pursuit on time
