Job description for Tax Officer at PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk
Job Description:
- Prepare and ensure all the tax payment process done timely and in accordance with GL and all documents are valid, including preparing tax report and tax reconciliation for WHT, VAT, and prepaid tax.
- Identifying potential tax exposures and/or problem areas when reviewing tax compliance, and providing solution to mitigate the risk.
- Regularly monitor local tax regulation changes and the implications on the business. Understand, assess and respond to any tax issue/case raised by the Tax Authorities, including being Company's representative during the process.
- Equalize revenue with VAT output and expenses with input VAT and PPh.
- Working closely with accounting, tax, payables, and receivables teams to review the existing and new vendor and partner taxes and propose calculatior correction if any.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance - Fiscal Administration, Taxation is preferable.
- Brevet level A&B (minimum requirement).
- Min. 1 year of experience as an in-house tax specialist.
- Minimum deep understanding of Indonesian taxation regulations and treatments. Understanding of international tax regulations and treatments is a plus.
- Experience handling and dealing with Tax Authorities during tax audits/investigations and use MS Office.
- Ability to work independently, analytical and detail-oriented, good communication skills
