Job Description : A Social Media Strategist is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing the overall social media strategy for a brand or organization. They work closely with the marketing, public relations, and advertising teams to ensure that the company's online presence aligns with its marketing goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.
- Research and analyze competitor social media strategies and trends to develop innovative and effective strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to produce high-quality content that is consistent with the brand's voice and style.
- Foster relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and key stakeholders in the industry.
- Monitor social media analytics using various analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) to evaluate the performance of campaigns and strategies.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reports on social media performance, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns to reach the target audience and drive conversions.
- Monitor and manage the social media advertising budget to ensure ROI.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Recommend and implement new social media platforms, tools, and strategies to reach the target audience effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience 2 year as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficient in content creation and management tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative thinker with a passion for social media and digital marketing
