Job description for Scrum Master at PT. Amalura Multi Dimensi
Job Objectives:
Ensure efficient product development is carried out by implementing Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Main responsibility:
• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Assist teams in improving their Scrum skills and practices.
• Ensure the team understands and follows Agile and Scrum principles.
• Help teams to identify and overcome obstacles that hinder their progress.
• Assist the Product Owner in detailing and managing the Product Backlog.
• Ensure transparency in projects by managing and updating the Scrum board.
• Assists in aligning and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Reporting project progress to the stakeholders involved.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications and Abilities:
• Having at least 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role on a software development team.
• Have a strong understanding of Agile methodology and Scrum practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to facilitate effective discussions.
• Skills in identifying and overcoming project obstacles.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of team members and stakeholders.
• Scrum Master certification (such as Certified ScrumMaster) is desirable, but not required.
• Ability to adapt to changes and changing situations.
• Can communicate using English well.
• Have a desire to continue learning and developing new skills.
Roles:
• Facilitator: Facilitates all Scrum activities in the sprint execution process and helps the team to collaborate effectively.
• Protector (Servant Leader): Protects the team from external interference and helps them achieve the sprint goal.
• Coach: Teaches and guides the team in applying Agile and Scrum principles.
• Obstacle Remover: Identify obstacles and remove them to ensure smooth development.
• Coordinator: Coordinates team activities and ensures all team members work according to the sprint plan.
• Communicator: Act as a liaison between the development team and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and good understanding of project progress.
