As a recruitment intern, you'll be immersed in the world of talent acquisition and human resources. Your responsibilities might include:
Assisting with job postings: You'll help draft and post job descriptions on various job boards and company websites.
Candidate sourcing: Utilizing online platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, and social media, you'll search for potential candidates whose skills match open positions.
Resume screening: You'll review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates, noting relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
Initial candidate communication: You may reach out to potential candidates via email or phone to schedule interviews or gather additional information.
Interview coordination: Assisting in scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates and interviewers, and ensuring all logistical details are in place.
Candidate follow-up: After interviews, you might be responsible for gathering feedback from interviewers and communicating with candidates about next steps in the hiring process.
Administrative tasks: This could include maintaining candidate databases, organizing hiring-related documents, and other general administrative duties to support the recruitment process.
Throughout your internship, you'll have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of recruitment, from sourcing and screening candidates to understanding the importance of cultural fit and employer branding.
