Overview:
We are in search of a proficient Software QA Automation Engineer to join our vibrant team. The primary responsibility of the ideal candidate will involve crafting, implementing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the excellence and dependability of our software products. The Software QA Automation Engineer will work closely with the development team to recognize test scenarios, automate test cases, and actively contribute to refining our testing procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain automated test scripts utilizing prevalent automation tools and frameworks in the industry.
- Create and test cases for both web and mobile applications.
- Execute automated test suites and meticulously scrutinize results to pinpoint defects and performance concerns.
- Foster collaboration with multifaceted teams to grasp project requirements and offer insights on testability and automation feasibility.
- Engage in Agile development methodologies, encompassing daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Document test cases, plans, and results comprehensively to ensure exhaustive test coverage and traceability.
- Contribute to the perpetual enhancement of QA processes and the adoption of best practices.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one year of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a specialization in test automation.
- Proficiency in utilizing test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Previous exposure to Agile development environments.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A keen eye for detail and adeptness in task prioritization.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting and independently when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
- Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB, would be advantageous.
