Purchasing Officer
As a Purchasing Officer at Saltlick, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement team's activities. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the procurement process, maintaining records, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and supplies to our organization.
Qualifications:
1. Diploma, Bachelor, or equivalent. A degree in business or supply chain management is a plus.
2. Previous experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is desirable.
3. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
5. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to meet the organization's procurement needs.
2. Work closely with the Manager to prepare purchase orders.
3. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to quality standards.
4. Maintain organized and up-to-date procurement records.
5. Monitor and manage inventory levels to support efficient operations.
6. Assist in compliance checks to ensure adherence to procurement policies and relevant regulations.
7. Support cost analysis and budget tracking efforts as needed.
8. Make stock opname and purchasing bills report.
