Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to join our team at PSN. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management, to support our operations and ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and operational needs.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions for contracts and agreements.
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential vendors to expand our supplier base.
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and provide timely support and solutions.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in the maritime or shipping industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Knowledge of international maritime regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
