Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end product design process from concept to execution, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketing teams, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative design environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products to ensure our designs are competitive and innovative.
- Advocate for the user, ensuring that the user experience is seamless, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality.

- Take ownership of design initiatives and be proactive in driving the design agenda within the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on applications like marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.
- Proven experience in leading design teams and managing multiple design projects.
- Strong understanding of internet marketing principles and how they influence product design.
- Exceptional user empathy, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to non-design stakeholders.
- High level of ownership, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
- A track record of mentoring high-performing interdisciplinary design teams.
- The ability to form consensus across a broad, fast-moving organization through effective communication and interpersonal skills (including: negotiation, constructive feedback, presentation, managing expectations).
- Keen eye for details and of organized nature, highly motivated to problem solve, and the ability to calculate potential risks while anticipating unintended consequences.
