Job description for Operations Intern at Sirka
Key Responsibilites
- Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Support the pharma procurement team in sourcing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinic Operations, Research, and Partnership in providing up-to-date inventory report and performance analytics
- Participate in the development and maintenance of supply chain performance metrics and reporting tools.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for supply chain improvements.
- Assist in the creation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation related to supply chain processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects aimed at streamlining supply chain operations.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and generate insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with supply chain management software is a plus.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Basic understanding of supply chain and procurement processes. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
