Job description for Offline Business Development Associate at Edukita
About the role
This is an exciting, action-packed role, reporting to our Head of Offline Expansion to grow
our business by collaborating with partners, schools, communities, teachers and parent
associations. You will support our vision by creating access to quality education that will
enable Indonesians to be globally competitive. You will have to identify, pitch and close a
number of partners and students for our hyperlocal english course with native speakers.
What you will do
● Identify, assess, pitch and close leads for potential partners of our English course
● Onboard and help partners to launch and grow their education business
● Establish connections to communities, schools, parents and teacher to source
students for potential partners
● Strategize and run student acquisition events together with potential partners
● Set, own and deliver on monthly KPI and quarterly sales targets
● Serve as a brand ambassador for your assigned locale/area
● Partner with program management and LXD (learning experience design) to ensure
successful delivery of educational programs for our partners
● Be involved in the setup of processes and codification of learnings/playbooks to
build the foundations of a well-oiled sales and community organization
● Serve as a thought partner and collaborate with our marketing, growth, product
and LXD teams to grow our share of offline business revenues
What we are looking for
● Fresh graduate or 1-3 years of relevant experience in field sales/customer
service/marketing and or community. Preference for those who have experience
delivering sales/revenue targets
● A track record of consistently delivering on sales targets
● A “closer” who believes in building partners relationships for the longer term
● Motivated self-starter, able to work independently and to operationalize in an
ambiguous environment
● A confident communicator - able to create relevance and offer solutions that help
clients (partners, teachers, school, parents and students) to improve their English
and life skills.
● Interest in working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment, which often
requires you to go beyond a job description
● Highly-collaborative attitude, team player, scrappy fast learner
