Join PT. Sinotrans CSC Indonesia, a subsidiary of Sinotrans (HK) Logistics Limited (China Merchant Group), a global leader in International Logistics (#3 Ocean Freight Forwarder, #4 Largest 3PL in the world, by A&A). Established in Indonesia since 2012, specializing in Project Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution, E-Commerce, and Shipping Agency. We are currently offering a career opportunity in the Freight Forwarding Department for the position of:
Freight Forwarding (PIB/PEB) Staff
Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor shipments from the customer's location to their final destination.
Identify and recommend suitable vendors.
Timely processing of PIB & PEB documentation for both air freight and ocean freight.
Handle import and export documents according to customer specifications.
Draft and review PIB & PEB documents for accuracy.
Ensure precise and punctual processing of licenses.
Stay updated on new regulations and communicate changes to relevant parties.
Process licenses and permits for external stakeholders.
Inform internal teams about any new Customs-related regulations.
Monitor and follow up on new processes, inquiries from customers, and coordinate Customs licensing.
Handle invoicing and billing drafts for customers and vendors.
Requirements:
Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree (S1).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding or EMKL or PPJK industry.
Proficiency in ocean export-import procedures.
Proficiency in ocean export-import documents.
Knowledge of import and export operations.
Strong understanding of PEB & PIB processes.
Familiarity with export-import declaration documents (PEB/PIB) and the process of data input into Electronic Data Interchanges (EDI) Customs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel for business purposes and demonstrate mobility.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, and Outlook).
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Proficiency in Mandarin is a preferred skill.
Willing to work with the status of an outsourcing employee from the outsourcing company vendor that we use.
