Job description for Career Support Intern at Talenesia
The Career Support Intern at Talenesia will directly contribute to Talenesia's mission "To equip low & semi-skilled Indonesian talents with future-proof skills to improve their career opportunities and quality of life." As a Career Support Intern, your contribution will primarily come through Talenesia's flagship product, the 9-month Comprehensive HR Admin Course, especially during the 3-month job search phase. In the job search phase, the Career Support Intern will provide comprehensive guidance and support to our talents (Temanesia) in their career development and job-seeking process.
Specifically, the Career Support Intern will undertake (job description):
β Conduct individual consultation sessions with students to aid them in planning their career and develop job search strategies
β Guiding students in crafting effective resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation.
β Design and facilitate career workshops and seminars to equip students with job search skills. For example: how to network and use AI in job-seeking
β Collect and manage career activity data of students and provide detailed documentation of activities, consultation notes, recommendations, and student attendance.
β Examine the gathered data from student management to enhance decision-making processes in student support
Requirement:
β Strong verbal and written skills to ensure alignment between various stakeholders in a project. Experience in learning related projects is preferred.
β Comfortable and enthusiast in providing career guidance and support by understanding their individual needs and goals. Experience as mentor, facilitator, or coach in campus/organization/internship will be highly valued
β Skilled in organizing, analyzing, and using data management to inform decisions and improve program effectiveness. Google Spreadsheets mastery is a super plus.
β A team player. Easily develop and maintain relationship with people from various backgrounds
β Good time management and planning skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet various deadlines.
β Ability to coordinate, monitor, and plan mitigation for project and event management
β Skill in understanding and responding to others' emotional needs, as well as creating an environment that values diversity and inclusivity.
β Strong belief in the malleability of human qualities (growth mindset) to focus on embracing challenges, persisting through obstacles, valuing effort, learning from feedback, and being inspired by others' success.
β Resilient; able to recover quickly from difficulties and effectively handle day-to-day stress.
