Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Officer to join our team at Caliana. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client base for Caliana's Visitor Management System (VMS) by developing and executing effective business strategies. You will work closely with the product manager and other stakeholders to identify market opportunities, generate leads, and establish strategic partnerships.
Job Description
- Develop and execute business strategies to increase Caliana VMS's market share and brand awareness.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities for Caliana VMS.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with the product manager to enhance and adapt Caliana VMS to meet market demands and customer needs.
- Generate leads and manage sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients, maintaining strong relationships throughout the sales process.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns for Caliana VMS.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Caliana VMS.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the management team on business development progress and achievements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable university. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in business development, preferably within the software indusitry or a related field.
- Proven experience in a business development role, preferably in the software or technology industry, with a focus on strategic growth initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in expanding a software product in the Indonesian market and/or internationally.
- Strong understanding of the software industry in Indonesia, including market trends, local business culture, regulations, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Familiarity with the Caliana product suite, including its Visitor Management System, Access Control System, and Surveillance System, is a plus.
- Experience working with channel partners, such as resellers, system integrators, or value-added resellers (VARs), in the Indonesian market.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams based in Jakarta and remote locations.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.
