Senior Finance Specialist / Lead

We are a prominent distributor of valves and actuators based in Bekasi, Indonesia. We are dedicated to delivering high quality products and solutions to our clients in the industrial sector. To enhance our Finance function, we are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Specialist/Lead to undertake all aspects of Finance and Tax within the company. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Finance and Operations to streamline these essential functions. This is a pivotal role in establishing strong financial practices and driving long-term profitability for the business.
• Support financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Prepare, compile ledgers and support on any financial analysis.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Utilise the Company’s Finance ERP system to input quotations, sales orders, income, expense, payables and receivables into the system.
• Support the Director of Finance and Operations in preparing, monitoring and controlling budgets and cash flow, bank reconciliation reports.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management review.
• Analyse financial data and generate forecasts to support strategic decision making.
• Work closely with the HR department to ensure correct input and outcomes for payroll processes.
• Work closely with appointed 3rd party consultants to ensure smooth submissions of tax reports, information and documents to the authorities and on time.
• Preparing tax reconciliations and help with all tax related issues.
• Work closely with other colleagues within the Team to ensure smooth operations for Finance related matters.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures.
• Collaborate with the management of the company to achieve financial goals.
• Generating of reports using our ERP system to help monitor sales performance and company performance matrix
• Structuring Company Finance and Accounting SOPs
• Proven track record of success as a Finance Specialist or lead or similar role.
• Previous experience in finance/accounting roles in Indonesia is essential.
• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping principles.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and risk management practices.
• Completed bachelor’s degree in finance and accountancy or a related field (MSc/MBA or relevant certifications) is a must.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for finance/accounting functions. This role will require utilisation of ERP systems for finance/accounting tasks, to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian financial laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with excellent communication skills is a must.
