Job description for Account Manager at Edukita
About the role
This is an exciting, project-based role, reporting directly to one of our co founders, to
grow beyond our B2C business. You will support the co-founders and other cross
functional peers to identify, pitch and close a number of educational, government and
corporate clients.
What you will do
● Identify, pitch and close leads across education, government and corporate
sectors
● Set, own and deliver on quarterly sales targets
● Serve as a brand ambassador for all educational, government and corporate
prospects
● Partner with program management and LXD (learning experience design) to ensure
successful delivery of educational programs for our paying clients
● Proactively manage clients across our engagements to ensure retention
● Be involved in the setup of processes and codification of learnings/playbooks to
build the foundations of a well-oiled sales organization
● Serve as a thought partner and collaborate with our marketing, growth, product
and LXD teams to grow our share of B2B revenues
What we are looking for
● At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships or
sales. Preference for those who have worked with HR SaaS/edutech/education
products/programs
● A track record of consistently delivering on sales targets
● A “closer” who believes in building client relationships for the longer term
● Motivated self-starter, able to work independently and to operationalize in an
ambiguous environment
● A confident communicator - able to break down complex topics and tailor
messages to various audiences, including challenging client contexts
● Interest in working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment, which often
requires you to go beyond a job description
● Highly-collaborative attitude, team player, scrappy fast learner
● Passion for our mission
