The company was first established in 1980 at Cimanggis as a sole proprietorship named Astare, which was subsequently formalized into CV Bintang Jaya Baharriski in 2005 before improving its legal status into a limited liability company when a new investor, PT Sinar Mitra Bersama, joined the company in 2013.
In order to meet continual market needs and demands we expanded our production capacity by building a new factory, which was built from the ground up with fully automated machines and infrastructure that complies with food safety and hygiene manufacturing standards, located at Tangerang.
