As an in-house Community Manager, your responsibility is to manage and coordinate projects that advance specific marketing strategies and goals. You will work closely with creative and communications departments, as well as external vendors and freelancers.
You may be assigned various marketing and community projects, such as campaign launches, event coordination, and merchandise tactics, and community building.
The ideal candidate should be goal-oriented, passionate about marketing and community building, and have to be community-driven. We are looking for someone who can get things done and deliver results.
Effectively communicating with all stakeholders, including senior management, team members and community partners with their communities.
Encouraging collaboration across teams and departments.
Defining tactics and executing plans for marketing and community, event campaigns in line with the content strategist or strategy director's strategic approach.
Developing a social media plan that aligns with the event's and community’s objectives.
Planning and coordinating events with internal and external parties to ensure objectives are met.
Updating social media content across all channels for related campaigns, especially for the community events, RICE’s merchandise.
Working with internal and external teams to plan RICE’s merchandise design and selling.
Engaging with customers and followers and managing and facilitating social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions for related campaigns.
Establishing relationships with various communities and social media influencers to develop strong networks.
Developing content or outsourcing it to content developers and creators.
Managing a budget for projects’ activities.
Keeping an eye on social media trends, community trends.
Regularly liaising with clients via telephone, email, conference calls, or face-to-face (agency roles).
Be responsible for outcomes of projects managed, and be able to optimize the outcomes.
Being familiar with project management tools.
