Prepare EOIs, proposals & tenders
- Manage client with regular reporting
- Establish team, tasks and deliverables
- Direct team in carriage of the work
- Check documentation for quality and accuracy
- Ensure budget (fee and project) is met
- Ensure project delivery on time
- Prepare design and construction documents as required
- Secure client testimonial
- Maintain and build upon your own and potential client base
- Prepare EOI’s, proposals and tenders
- Maintain market intelligence
- Build long term client relationships
- Make presentations to clients
- Initiate briefing process with the client
- Initiate design direction (in conjunction with Director)
- Communicate design concepts
- Direct preparation of design drawings
- Maintain knowledge across workplace reform issues and new trends
- Maintain market knowledge of materials, workstation and walling systems, furniture, lighting, fabrics etc.
- Participate in design profile events
- Assist in getting work published
- Network at industry functions
- Tutor at University / College (optional)
- Interface with Associates, Associate Director and Principals for the smooth operation of the firm, and relative to company development and Issues Including:
- Be a role model to peers and junior staff
- Initiate good practice and new ideas
- Interact with senior staff in development of company process
- Assist in interviewing for new staff
- Initiate a project outside the client project role that will add value to GSA
- Provide and maintain, so far as practicable, a workplace that is safe and without risk to health
- Provide appropriate supervision, instruction, training and information to employees so that they may perform their tasks in a safe manner
The person must have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in the architecture industry or interior design.
Must have a track record of excellent client management through the delivery of projects.
Must have lead teams up to 2 staff in the design, documentation and delivery of architectural/interior project.

1. Demonstrated design ability through completed projects.
2. IT skills including CAD to document major projects
3. Ability to sketch and communicate design ideas.
4. Writing skills sufficient to prepare a project proposal, EOI or report.
1. Qualified architect or interior designer with accreditation from University or equivalent technical institution.
2. Evidence of ongoing professional development.
3. Client testimonial as demonstration of success relative to a similar role or past track record.
