Job description for PR Specialist at GOLDEN PEN
- Develop and execute a results-driven, multi-platform communications strategy and plan for a diversified portfolio of clients.
- Create and manage the development and delivery of media outreach, press conferences, media gathering, press releases, articles, TV features as well as other PR mediums such as messaging tracks, Q&As, spokesperson briefings, reactive and holding statements, media responses, and manage pitching of stories to journalists, and handling media inquiries.
- Plan, implement and manage PR campaigns for clients.
- Develop and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, government partners and media outlets to facilitate positive PR outcomes.
- Supervise, and mentor junior team members, providing guidance, direction, and support in executing PR campaigns.
- Graduate university
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in a similar role within a PR or communications agency/client, with a proven track record of successful campaigns and strong media relationships.Innovative, honest, sociable, passionate and responsible with tasks handed
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive content and communicate effectively with team members and clients.A wide-reaching network of media contacts, an in-depth understanding of journalist needs, and a keen awareness of emerging media trends.
- English fluency is an advantage
- Receptive to information and flexible in processing information
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.
