Job description for Blockchain Scientist at SotaTek
- Researching using cutting-edge technologies such as ZKP and cryptographic techniques on EVM blockchains.
- Lead the implementation of UCL (Universal Confidential Ledger) by using cutting-edge technologies.
- Lead the building of DLT infrastructure.
- Work closely with the CTO on blockchain innovation initiatives.
- Design and develop blockchain prototypes to validate proposed solutions.
- Experiment with various platforms and tools to achieve desired outcomes.
- Optimize consensus mechanisms for improved performance and scalability.
- 5-10+ years working experience in blockchain technology. Expert at writing smart contracts for security and functionality.
- Familiar with ZKP and ZKP applications.
- Familiar with cryptographic techniques and other cutting-edge technologies.
- Great in algorithm techniques.
- Familiarity with software languages, such as C++, Java, solidity, GO, etc.
- BS, MS, or Ph.D in Computer Science or Mathematics.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Fluent in English can work with with international teams.
- Bonus if worked as a scientist developing one of the main EMV-compatible blockchains such as Polygon, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, etc.
