Job description for Business Development Executive at Fave Asia
As Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for expanding the ecosystem of Fave merchants in Singapore by selling the suite of Fave service offerings to merchants, growing the merchant’s business, and solving for challenges faced by merchants.
Hold end to end P&L responsibility of each merchant account
Tap on existing network of brands to open up opportunities of collaboration with Fave
Identify and acquire new (internationally renowned) merchant partners & brands on the various value propositions on Fave: example FavePay, Deals, eCards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to decide on go-to-market strategy and execution plan for each merchant, based on its nuances
Establish close relationships with merchants and brands and continuously help them to grow on Fave
Continuously propose campaigns and special initiatives to merchants to help them in achieving their goals, while balancing that with Fave’s goals
What matters in this role:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably with key accounts as well
- Strong track record in C-Level negotiations and possesses an ability to understand the different nuances in negotiation
- Exhibits great maturity in handling stakeholders at different levels, both internal and external
- Exhibit high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
- Effectively bilingual with strong verbal and written communication
- Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A keen learner with an inquisitive mind
- Tenacious and able to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
