Job description for Procurement Intern at Arkema Pte Ltd
• Sourcing and prequalification of potential suppliers
• Issuance of/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for projects and ad-hoc RFQ
• Liaise closely with the Project Team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that the quotations received are in line with technical/commercial specifications. Negotiate with suppliers for best price and lead-time.
• Conduct Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE) as final summary of negotiated rates and services.
• Presentation of proposed vendor to nomination committee stakeholders
• Assist in Purchase Requisition conversion to Purchase Order
• Daily and monthly up-keeping of standard purchasing reports
• Usage of Savings Declaration Tool to update savings negotiated by purchasing
• Draft MOM for Regional and internal meetings on ad-hoc basis
• Draft MOM for meetings with vendors/suppliers
• Assist in documentation filing, suggest improvement of process
Requirements:
• Minimum Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations
• Year of Study: Year 2-4
• Commit to a 5-6 months full-time internship
• Ability to work independently in a fast pace environment
