Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure excellent customer service, smooth operational flow, staff productivity, and achievement of sales targets. This role includes managing the team, maintaining service standards, controlling operational costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and hygiene regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Ensure all opening and closing procedures are properly implemented.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained at all times.
2. Team Management
- Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage manpower efficiently.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching.
- Ensure staff discipline, grooming, and adherence to company SOPs.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes when required.
3. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Monitor daily sales and operational performance.
- Control operational costs, including labor and inventory.
- Manage stock levels and coordinate with suppliers/vendors.
- Prepare operational reports, sales reports, and incident reports.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
4. Customer Service
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Build positive relationships with customers and handle feedback effectively.
- Ensure the restaurant delivers a welcoming and professional dining experience.
5. Compliance & SOP
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Implement and maintain operational SOPs.
- Coordinate with other departments to improve operational efficiency.
