Description
TransNusa is an Indonesian airline headquartered in Cideng, Jakarta Pusat, providing domestic and international air transportation services. Established in 2005, the airline operates a fleet of aircraft primarily serving routes within Indonesia. With its main focus on connecting various cities and islands, TransNusa plays a crucial role in facilitating travel and transportation in the archipelagic nation.
In August 2011, TransNusa entered a new phase by obtaining its own Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) and scheduled commercial flight permits. As the company experienced rapid growth and adapted to trends in the aviation industry, starting from December 2021, TransNusa transitioned to the Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) concept and adopted Jet Engine-powered aircraft as its main fleet. This strategic shift reflects the airline's commitment to staying competitive and aligning with industry developments.
