SMACO Tax Advisory Services was established on 10th October 2010 by Solihin Makmur Alam. As a founder of SMACO Tax Advisory Services, Solihin is a Registered State Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, and Certified Tax Consultant. He garnered his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Atma Jaya Catholic University and also obtained his Master Degree in International Taxation from The University of Sydney. He holds Tax Brevet C License and Tax Court License.

Before setting up his own Tax Consulting Firm in 2010, he has experience for working in an accounting environment for 8 years, including taxation, auditing, and financial accounting. Some of the company in which he gained his experience among others is Arthur Andersen, PB TaxAND (formerly known as Prijohandojo, Boentoro, & Co.), Vimwood Australia Pty. Ltd., Kantor Akuntan Publik Drs. Daniel Hassa dan Rekan, and Baker McKenzie (Hadiputranto Hadinoto & Partners). He serves variety of clients from many industries such as Services Company, Trading Company, Manufacturing Company, Hospitality Industries Company, Real Estate Company, Mining Company, Consulting Company (including Law Firm, IT Consulting Company, and Service Provider Company), Banking, and Other Financial Institution.
