In Indonesia more than 10% of children under the age of 5 die from diarrheal diseases caused by dirty drinking water. Not only that, but the country is the worlds second largest marine plastic polluter at 70 tones per day.

Invented in Guatemala, ceramic pot filter technology has been proven for over 40 years to be a cost effective and culturally appropriate technology for getting safe drinking water into the most vulnerable homes.

Terra manufactures its own water filters from 100% natural, local materials using a zero waste manufacturing process. Filters eliminate the need for plastic water bottles of any kind. They use clay, activated carbon and colloidal silver to make 100% pure drinking water from the tap, well, rivers, the rain or any other freshwater source.

Terra works with a network of local and international organizations that help us identify and deliver filters to families in Indonesia with the most need, and educate them on good WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) practices. Our focus is UN SDG#6: Safe Water and Sanitation for All, however, our activities in the field and as a company either directly or indirectly touch on every one of the SDG's.
