Do you love crafting websites from scratch, but with a special love for building the robust back-end engine? Are you a whiz with CMS platforms like WordPress and Shopify? If so, we want you on our team!
About the Role :
We're searching for a talented Web Developer/IT Support who thrives in building websites from the ground up. You'll wear multiple hats, bringing both front-end creativity and back-end expertise to the table. While you'll have a experience in back-end foundation, you'll also be comfortable working on the user-facing side using CMS platforms.
Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and implement websites using Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress and experience in using Shopify (experience with other platforms is a plus).
Understand the back-end logic that powers your websites, ensuring smooth functionality and security using a server-side language like PHP or the CMS system backend.
Build user interfaces (UI) that are user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing.
Maintain existing websites and troubleshoot any issues that arise, front-end or back-end.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in both back-end development and CMS platforms.
Requirements :
Understanding of web development principles and best practices.
Proven experience with a server-side language like PHP (or similar) and knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) is a plus.
Familiarity with popular CMS platforms like WordPress and Shopify is essential.
Understand how to use website builder and custom implementation on CMS is necessary.
Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary.
Experience with and have understanding of Hosting, Email, and CPanel
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
