JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

Edit supplied footage, produce cutdowns and format adaptations, and create motion/animation using Designer-created frames. Deliver polished audio, subtitles, voiceover integration and localized versions for social platforms.

Reports to: Creative Director

Responsibilities

Video Editing and Format Adaptation

• Edit supplied footage into clear social narratives using approved scripts and direction, with appropriate pacing, transitions and product presentation.

• Create cutdowns and platform-format versions, maintaining message clarity and approved content across durations and aspect ratios.

Motion Graphics and Audio Production

• Animate Designer-created frames and develop motion graphics in line with approved visual direction, ensuring clean layer and asset handoffs.

• Edit and balance audio, integrate approved voiceover/music and prepare subtitles and on-screen copy with accurate timing and synchronization.

Localization and Technical Quality

• Produce localized versions using approved text, audio and market instructions. Flag language or timing issues for Copywriter/local-review resolution.

• Self-check image quality, product/brand fidelity, audio, subtitles, dimensions, frame rate and export settings before creative review and AM production QC.

Project Handoffs and AI Assisted Production

• Maintain organized project files, linked media, version naming and final exports. Verify that supplied or library assets have the required usage approval through the account workflow.

• Apply preferred AI video/post-production methods where appropriate and verify visual continuity, product accuracy and output quality. Route technical workflow issues to shared support.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Capabilities

• Relevant advertising/creative agency or content-production experience, regional or multi-market delivery, high-volume social production, and consumer-electronics client experience.

• Indicative experience is 3-6 years in social video editing and motion production, supported by a showreel of relevant work.

• Hands-on proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, plus relevant video/audio/post-production software used to deliver compatible editable projects and outputs.

• Strong editing, motion, compositing, basic color correction, audio balancing, subtitle timing and export knowledge for social deliverables.

• Ability to apply generative AI tools such as Higgsfield, ChatGPT, Gemini and comparable tools to creative production, while checking output quality and accuracy.

• Ability to animate supplied design frames, follow approved scripts and prepare consistent cutdowns, format changes and localized versions.

• Disciplined media/project organization, self-checking and response to feedback, with reliable delivery under allocated schedules.

• Working English sufficient to understand briefs/scripts, specifications and feedback, and communicate production questions clearly.

Experience bands guide screening. Demonstrated capability, leadership evidence and relevant work samples are considered alongside years of experience.

Preferred Capabilities

• AI video generation and AI-assisted post-production, with examples showing continuity control, product fidelity and manual finishing.

• Familiarity with automated versioning, automated creative handoffs and AI image tools supporting approved video workflows.

A CV and a relevant portfolio or showreel are required.

Collaboration

• Reports to: Creative Director.

• Work with AD/Designer on visual direction and frame handoffs, and Copywriter on scripts and copy. Follow traffic allocations from the Creative Delivery Manager and coordinate specifications, corrections and delivery inputs with the AM.
