Job Description
Homebase is looking for a talented candidate to join the Homebase as a Graphic Design Intern. This position will have a chance to work directly with the core members of our small but elite team and will have the following responsibilities:
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, visual designs, and prototypes, as well as write clear documentation, to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Implement and follow the design process to make sure we always have the design ready before the development
- Play a key role in the visual design of our products and brand identity
- Participate in analyzing product requirements and product planning to understand the company products
- Collaborate and work across functions including design, product, engineering, and data teams to deliver high-quality products
- Conduct UX research to understand the users who are either our customers or internal users.
- Present visual designs to peers and stakeholders while clearly communicating design rationale
- Work with the marketing team to design marketing & branding materials for marketing campaigns
- Conduct experiments to always improve the customer experience for our customer-facing products
- Make strategic user-experience decisions related to product functions and features
- Support the design team in day-to-day production needs, visual design

REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Background in UI/UX Design or related role within a technology company.
- Strong knowledge in wireframing, prototyping, user testing, interaction, and visual design
- Experience in design and prototype tools like Figma is preferred.
- Having a clear and defined design process.
- Strong understanding of design fundamentals (color theory, typography, grid systems, layouts, icons, and interactivity).
- Proactive and passionate: You’re independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations.
- Accuracy and attention to detail: You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Concise and effective communications: You’re able to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership in written and oral English and Vietnamese.
