Job description for UGC Creator / On-Camera Presenter (Tutorial Content) — YouTube at PT NOVA MEDIA LAB
About the Role
We're building a YouTube channel focused on software, SaaS, AI tools, and web hosting tutorials — a brand-owned channel (not a personal creator's channel), where multiple presenters may appear over time. We're looking for our first on-camera face: someone who can quickly learn new digital tools and explain them clearly, confidently, and engagingly to an international audience.
This is not a scripted-reading job. You'll genuinely need to learn software you've never used before — sometimes with little lead time — and turn that learning into a clear, well-paced tutorial that helps viewers who've never touched the tool either.
What You'll Do
- Star in YouTube tutorial videos explaining software, SaaS platforms, AI tools, and web hosting services
- Learn new tools quickly (often from scratch) well enough to demonstrate them clearly on camera
- Present in both English and Bahasa Indonesia for separate audience segments
- Work from a rough script/outline while sounding natural, not robotic
- Collaborate with the production team (editors, scriptwriters) to shape content that's genuinely useful and easy to follow
- Stay comfortable being filmed repeatedly, re-taking segments, and adapting delivery based on feedback
What We're Looking For
- On-camera confidence — prior experience presenting, hosting, or creating content on camera (YouTube, TikTok, corporate video, etc.)
- Fluent, clear English with a neutral or lightly-accented delivery that's easily understood by an international (including native English-speaking) audience
- Native-level Bahasa Indonesia
- Fast learner — genuinely curious about tech, software, and AI tools, with the ability to pick up a new platform and understand it well enough to teach it
- Strong communication skills: able to break down technical steps into simple, digestible explanations
- Comfortable with a fairly demanding, varied workload — one week might be a marketing SaaS, the next an AI image generator, the next a hosting platform
- Reliable, coachable, and professional — this is a company channel, so consistency in tone and quality matters more than personal branding
Nice to Have
- Existing experience with tech, SaaS, or software tutorial content
- Background in tech support, teaching, training, or a related field where explaining tools/processes was part of the job
- Basic familiarity with common software categories (project management tools, AI tools, website builders, hosting panels, etc.)
- Comfortable reading/improvising from a teleprompter or outline
