WHAT WILL YOU INVOLVE
- Lead and manage the Tooling team to ensure tooling performance meets production requirements.
- Analyze, modify, and optimize molds/tools to support efficient mass production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues related to manufacturability, quality, and productivity.
- Adjust tooling dimensions and specifications to ensure products meet design and production requirements.
- Handle and improve surface quality issues to achieve required appearance and quality standards.
- Evaluate and optimize curvature/profile to ensure proper product fit, function, and aesthetics.
- Work closely with Development, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to solve technical issues.
- Oversee tooling trials, validate results, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Establish and maintain tooling maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for tooling performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
WHAT WE NEED YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tooling management or a similar technical role in manufacturing.
- Strong experience in tooling modification and adjustment to support production requirements.
- Hands-on experience in solving surface finish issues and improving product appearance.
- Solid knowledge of curvature/profile control and geometric adjustments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills.
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Good English
