WHAT WILL YOU INVOLVE
- Design and develop molds/tooling for components such as soles, logos, trims, metal/plastic accessories, and headwear parts
- Collaborate with Product Development teams on new product introduction (NPI)
- Review product designs and provide technical input to ensure tooling feasibility (DFM – Design for Manufacturing)
- Analyze tooling issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance for molds/tooling
- Optimize tooling design to improve cycle time, reduce defects, and increase productivity
- Work closely with suppliers/vendors for outsourced tooling development
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and tooling BOM
- Support production teams in troubleshooting tooling-related issues on the shop floor
WHAT WE NEED YOU HAVE
- 2–5 years of experience in tooling/mold engineering
- Experience in footwear, headwear, or related industries (garment accessories, plastic, metal parts) is highly preferred
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of materials (plastic, rubber, metal) and manufacturing processes (injection, compression, stamping, etc.)
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
- Basic English
