• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical field such as computer science, information system or related fields.
• Working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product.
• Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience working with the following tools preferred: Confluence/JIRA, Git & Github, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Intercom.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including willingness and ability to consult with subject matter experts from engineering, support, and product management.
• Enjoys working as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibility areas :
• Work with product managers, designer, and engineers to produce and maintain documentation, including: Business Process, User Guides, Integration Guides, API Developer Guides, In platform documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.).
• Learn complex concepts, and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by users.
• Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
• Write for a variety of audiences, from non-technical end users to programmers, system administrators, and integrators.
• Integrate use case and functional data into user documentation and examples.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and deliverables.
• Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use.
• Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, RFP responses, etc.), ensuring a consistent "look and feel."
