Key Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Execution
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and components to support manufacturing and customer demand.
- Monitor supply and demand trends, identify constraints, and develop mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with planning teams to optimize inventory, lead times, and service levels.
- Drive supply readiness for new product introductions (NPI), product transitions, and end-of-life activities.
- Lead strategic reviews of CTB, BP, and SP with CM partners to ensure alignment and execution readiness.
- Drive elimination of gating parts per SKU to prevent supply disruptions.
- Validate MOQ and freight cost, leveraging “What-If” simulations to drive cost-effective decisions.
Supplier Management
- Manage strategic supplier–manufacturing site relationships and performance metrics.
- Conduct regular supplier reviews focused on build plan, ship plan, capacity, quality, delivery performance, and risk management.
- Escalate and resolve supply issues impacting production schedules or customer deliveries.
- Partner with suppliers to improve responsiveness, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Drive partner metrics and performance improvement (Build plan health, ROP fulfillment %, LTA-T %, Ocean shipment %, ECO on-time execution).
Risk Management
- Identify and assess supply chain risks, including capacity constraints, material shortages, logistics disruptions, and geopolitical impacts.
- Develop contingency plans and alternative strategies.
- Lead cross-functional supply recovery efforts during escalations and crisis situations.
- Support business continuity and resiliency initiatives.
- Support CQFQ, QE risk management, and escalated orders.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Global Material Management, Global Category Management, Manufacturing Operations, and Logistics.
- Lead supply chain programs and projects with measurable business impact.
- Influence decision-making through data-driven analysis and recommendations.
- Support executive-level reporting and supply chain reviews.
- Own and drive implementation of ECO/DEV/MCO/Qualification Builds with clear timelines and cost accountability.
- Lead seamless transitions by aligning closely with partners and ensuring operational continuity.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop supply chain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Analyze demand variability, supplier performance, inventory trends, and fulfillment metrics.
- Provide actionable insights to management and stakeholders.
- Review monthly/quarterly CMINV and E&O reports.
- Manage Misc/Non-FRU shipments, KPI reviews, and QBR scorecards.
- Support quarterly business reviews and operational planning cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronics industry, preferably in tier-one EMS companies.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management principles.
- Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Proven ability to manage complex operational issues and drive resolution across multiple organizations.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written); Mandarin preferred.
- Experience using ERP and planning systems such as Oracle, SAP, Kinaxis, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analytics, and supply chain reporting tools.
- Familiarity with CTB/build plan, BOMs, ECO & DEVs.
- Ability to independently resolve issues in accordance with processes and guidelines.
