We invite applications for the position of Stakeholder Engagement Officer, Community Engagement & Partnerships in the Centre for Innovation in Learning.
Responsibilities
- Assist Manager/Community Engagement & Partnerships (CEP) in scanning the educational climate and propose possible areas of partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify trends in emerging fields and innovations in education through environment scans and research.
- Engage stakeholders to understand unique needs and to design bespoke initiatives while tapping on the strengths of other teams in IN-Learning.
- Co-conceptualise stakeholder engagement plans with Manager/CEP and implement the CEP initiatives.
- Monitor the progress of CEP initiatives and assist to conduct analyses such as surveys, focus groups and interviews to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of initiatives.
- Present the collated data using data visualisation tools and propose revisions to initiatives where necessary.
- Assist Manager/CEP to strengthen the culture of innovation in teaching and learning at NIE through the promotion of latest educational technologies and innovations to internal stakeholders.
- Assist Manager/CEP in managing key performance management and corporate reporting and review mechanisms, including data and information collation, and benchmarking.
- Enhance administration by experimenting with emerging technologies to automate processes for grant management and department reports.
Requirements
- A Degree with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
- Adept in using productivity applications such as Google Suite, and/or others.
- Experience in qualitative and / or quantitative research and data analyses.
- Critical mindset in analysis to diagnose themes and trends.
- Innovative mindset to propose out-of-box solutions to improve existing processes.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Highly motivated, independent and a strong team player.
- Prior work experience in education/higher education is an added advantage.
