Job description for Software Engineer Intern - Distributed Systems at Sensetime International
Our team is called IRDC ING, which is the AI distributed platform team of Sensetime IRDC (International R&D Centre) department. We provide professional technical support for the landing of AI product with Sensetime original AI technology overseas.
We focus on DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS & AI PLATFORM INFRASTRUCTRUE, in order to accelerate the process of AI evolution.

Responsibilities
- Responsible to implement and maintain a highly available, scalable, and distributed artificial intelligence platform to help convert cutting-edge AI technologies to products and evolve rapidly in overseas scenario
- Use Go language to implement modules in distributed systems, which will be deployed in products
- Responsible to assist testing engineers to complete testing and evaluation of software products
- Maintain and improve modules
Requirements
- Major in computer science related fields
- Able to commit for at least three months for full-time position or six months for part-time position
- Familiar with the Linux systems
- Software skills required include Golang, C/C++, and/or Python, have a good sense of keeping high code quality
- Basic knowledge of computer vision and backend software development
- Possess good learning ability and be self-driven, good communication skills and strong team spirit
Experience in any one of the following areas is a big plus:
- Experienced in design and implementation of distributed systems
- Have previous work experience or participated in programming competitions
- Active open-source project contributors and maintainers
- Experience with CI/CD tools, and Agile workflow methodologies
- Parallel computing (CUDA/OpenCL)
