The Social Media Intern will be responsible for day-to-day tasks involving executing the social media strategy for respective brands and work closely with the social team to deliver social media deliverables to clients to meet their business objectives.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Assist the Account Director and Account Manager in creating social calendars for the brands
As part of Community Management, monitor the social media pages (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) for user comments and drafting replies for the same
Conceptualize the social posts based on the approved content calendar
Create comprehensive Creative Brief for the creative team for the social posts
Ensure the timelines and processes for content creation and client approval are maintained
Assist the team in photo/video production of content
Conduct research to see the current trends and content that works for brands
Seek out for client competitors’ social audit/activities
Assist the social team in conducting research for new pitches and proposals
Have a strong interest in advertising & communications
Currently enrolled in a tertiary education institution (University, Polytechnic)
Preferably studying Marketing / Advertising / Branding / Mass Communications
