Responsibilities:
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
• Preparing work schedules and allocating resources, as well as supervising junior engineers, workers, and contractors.
• Direct, lead and support other engineering and skilled personnel in managing and executing multiple tasks and projects.
• Ensuring that civil engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (reports, tests, drawing and other)
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislations are adhered to.
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Documenting processes and presenting project progress updates to Project managers.
Requirement:
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 1 years working experience in civil engineering
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to learn
